Nine years ago we met Jay and Kyle Mitchell when we were looking for a second home in Sarasota, Florida. What could have been a grueling and tiresome experience, turned into a wonderful experience dealing with Jay and Kyle, he never said a word while we drove him crazy looking at many properties. Purchasing a home is probably the most expensive purchase you will make; we all share in the anxiety of this experience. There is so much to think about - the condition of the home you're purchasing, the price you're paying, and all the paper you must sign. It gets overwhelming for the most seasoned of home buyers.

I have a Michigan Brokers License, so you would think, "piece of cake!" right? Not so fast - when you are signing the papers, it's a different ballgame. When you are in a different state with different laws and a different climate, the process of buying a house was all of a sudden a big worry for us. We were so blessed to have met Jay Mitchell and his wife Kyle by sheer coincidence at an open house last year. Jay kept in touch with us on a regular basis keeping us informed of the market changes. We tried to make our vacation plans around house hunting with Jay each time we came to Florida. We were successful in finding a house, and put in an offer without even seeing it in person. To our disappointment, we did not get the house at first. Even so, Jay put a back up offer in, and in a short time, we were home owners!

The closing went smoothly even with the distance. Jay held out hand and assured us things were moving along. Jay always had the answers to our concerns and gave us options so the final decision was always ours. We were as anxious and excited as first time home buyers.
